The next day after the 'tree trimmer' assignment I met up the Donnie Arnoult, a retired pro cyclist who now owns a bike shop on Maui and also takes riders on a grueling bike tour, which they climb Haleakalä from the bottom up, ascending 10,000 feet over thirty-six miles.
